AN EMERGENCY APPEAL FOR YOUR SUPPORT TO REPAIR SOUTHERN ISRAEL'S FARMS
The war in Israel has placed immense stress on Israeli agriculture, threatening the country’s food security. In particular, agricultural communities near the Gaza border (in the ‘Gaza Envelope’) were harshly hit on October 7th by brutal terror attacks.
Some farmers or their relatives have been murdered or injured, evacuated from their homes and farms, or were drafted into the military. Agricultural equipment was stolen or destroyed, some farmlands are still under heavy fire, and many workers have fled.
Since the ‘Gaza Envelope’ is a critical agricultural region of the country, including many organic farms, it is imperative to work as soon as possible to restore these farmlands and secure our country’s agricultural foundation. We have the knowledge and capability to assist each organic farm in quickly implementing its best-fit recovery process.
